Youth with a Mission (YWAM) is a worldwide Christian movement operating in more than 180 countries since 1960. Each centre is financially and legally autonomous, allowing locations to adapt and serve the specific needs of the community. YWAM Medical Ships is a Christian charity that aims to care, connect, serve and build with communities.

YWAM Medical Ships implements its program, in association with key stakeholders and partners, via use of a Training and Medical Ship and land-based teams deployed in rural Papua New Guinean communities. Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) are in place with a number of sector leads including the National Department of Health (NDoH) and provinces engaged.

Since 2013, I have been a full time volunteer with YWAM Medical Ships in their Creative team within the Office of Communications. Starting as a graphic designer to currently managing the Creative team, I have been involved in various projects from redesigning the overall brand and its international expansion, the production of critical documents such as the Annual Report and promotional videos to engage with key stakeholders, and creative direction of fundraising campaigns in which has gained international attention and raised over $8 million Australian dollars.
